Approximately 80 minutes into the game
the First Aiders (medical team / medics / paramedics) were signalled by the referee to enter the field of play to attend the injured Hamilton player who had suffered a kick to the throat and mouth area. On arrival, Duty Officer David Lockhart found that the player was not breathing properly and was in trouble.
