Our job on this day was to remove an area of scrub that was invading the Green near to the ford. The problems arose after a temporary fence was erected across the corner of the Green to prevent the livestock from eating the foliage on the yew trees that border it. Unfortunately, the temporary fence was never removed, and so scrub invaded the area that the animals could no longer graze.

Five hundred metres beyond Crayford Ness you come to the river Darent. You're on the edge of London now. To your left, across the Thames, is Essek; ahead of you, across the Darent, is Kent. The corner of the capital is marked by an area of scrub on which two lonely shrubs have made their home.

makilik arazilerde bulunan bitkiler için bush kullanmak daha uygun olur kanaatindeyim..bununla birlikte shrub da kullanılabilir. bunlar bizdeki makilik'i tanımlayan terimler..

makilik arazi için bushland kullanılabilir belki...

Scrub, 'maki ormanı' dır, biz buna fundalık diyoruz.

'Maquis shrubland', 'makilik arazi' dir.

Maki, 'maquis' dir. Çoğul isimdir.
